_{A hair tutorial because why not:

1. Oh dang look an outline : Figure out your hair style. Remember, a hair style is curvy but not too curvy. Look at your hair. Now look back at your pixels. Does it look blocky? No? Good.

2. wow look some base color : Fill in your hair outline with a base color. Add some styles ooooo

3. Shade that mofo : Start with first color shading! Hair has lots of detail but to make is simple, its just really lines. Add some thickness to some lines and curve them! It'll look swell.
Long hair is usually long so try to make longer shades or try to make longer strands of shading!
Short hair is basically the opposite. Make shorter strands so it'll be just right.
Curly hair had a lot of curls so make sure you make the shading a bit curvier and rounder than normal.

4. Highlight : For this you can really do anything but I like to use the spray paint tool. Right click your base color and make sure your settings for selection is on transparent. Take your highlight color and spray paint over your hair. Before that, make sure you have a copy of your original shade+base color hair. Paste it over your spray paint so it'll be clean!

OPTIONAL : DOUBLE SHADING OH DANG: Since I didn't do it here, its optional. Double shading will add depth to your shading and make it look fancy. Add it to places that look plain.
